The
stained glass art produced on the farm is a combination
of copper foil designs, textured with solder, in layers
on stained glass panels to give a dimensional effect. |
| The
finished panel consists of a clear front panel, a stained
glass panel with the design on front and back, and a
clear back panel. It is framed in wood. I call this
chiaroscuro stained glass, created by the use of light
through the panel,and shadows formed by the solid copper
design. These cost about $250.00 for a framed panel
approximately 14" X 18" (including frame). |

They
can be custom created using your scanned photo, and in an
overall color of your choice. Keep in mind that the
chosen design must lend itself to being seen as a solid
shadow against a translucent background. Best displayed
in front of a window, the play of light through the panel
will change its appearance dramatically as the outside
light changes throughout the day. |
